The house was SUPER clean, the view was amazing, and the amenities were excellent. The Xbox and three large TVs were definite highlights.HOWEVER, there was a SERIOUS issue with the front door lock. We stayed two nights, and on BOTH nights the correct passcode would not work. The first night, the host responded quickly and remotely unlocked the door. The second night, we waited over 15 minutes and had to drive away just to get cell service to call. The host offered to send someone to fix it, but we were checking out the next morning.Even more concerning, on checkout morning we heard a noise we first thought was the ice maker, but later realized the FRONT DOOR HAD OPENED. After being unable to enter with the correct code, having the door open unexpectedly made us feel the lock was failing at both basic purposes: LETTING AUTHORIZED GUESTS IN AND KEEPING THE PROPERTY SECURE.The swim spa was also concerning. Both of us felt stinging on our hands and feet; afterwards I developed hives, while my partner had peeling on his fingers. We also saw undissolved granules on the seats. We did not report it because we did not plan to use it again, but guests should not have to serve as quality control for basic safety and maintenance.Smaller issues: used cleaning rags were left in the washer unwashed, the sheets felt plastic-like and uncomfortable, and the kitchen only had salt, pepper, and oil.Overall, many strengths, but these issues are unacceptable at this price.
