Welcome to Haus am Fluss! We moved to the Harz Mountains in 2017 and would like to offer you an unforgettable (short) vacation in Zorge—we’ve even thought of the little ones. We’ve lovingly renovated and furnished this vacation home over a long period of time. The accommodation offers a wonderful opportunity to leave stress behind and escape the daily grind. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains and listen to the river from the large, sunny terrace, or gaze up at the beautiful starry sky! There’s a grill in the garden. The bus stop is right nearby—almost right outside the door— erreichbar.In Located in Zorge in the Harz Mountains, the vacation home sits directly on the river. It’s a spacious property with 9 bedrooms (including one family room with a connecting room) and sleeps up to 15 people. We can also provide travel cribs for the little ones—please let us know if you’d like one! For some fun in between, there’s a large air hockey table with a digital scoreboard for all ages.


Free parking spaces are available for you, as well as a garage. The vacation home is about 50 m from the town center and about 17 km from the Harz National Park. Hiking trails start right at the property. In town, there’s a bakery serving coffee and a restaurant. The property features a spacious living room with a large dining area and direct access to the large rooftop terrace, located on the first floor, where you can enjoy views of the mountains, river, and garden! There is a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, as well as a stereo system and free Wi-Fi! The middle floor houses a well-equipped kitchen. You’ll have the house to yourselves, and all rooms are at your disposal; smoking is permitted in the garden and on the rooftop terrace! Final cleaning is included in the price. Bed linens and towels are included in the price; only the visitor’s tax, payable to the municipality, is paid by the guests. Parking spaces are available in the courtyard and in the garage. Dogs are welcome. The house is an ideal starting point for bike rides and hikes right in the surrounding area. Ski and toboggan runs, the summer toboggan run, Wurmberg, Braunlage, Torfhaus, and Brocken are not far away. The surrounding area offers many recreational attractions for all ages throughout the year, such as Salztalparadies, bowling, an indoor ice rink (open year-round), the Climb’n climbing gym, Tobewelt in Bad Sachsa and Bad Harzburg, the Straussberg Monkey Forest, outdoor swimming pools in Zorge and Niedersachswerfen, and much more! Within walking distance in the spa park (approx. 300 m) is a nice soccer field and a playground! We’d be happy to provide you with more information—just ask us! Flyers are also available for you! Within a radius of about 5 km, you’ll find Edeka, Norma, Netto, Rewe, and Aldi! The house is located in the border triangle of Lower Saxony, Thuringia, and Saxony-Anhalt. You can check in on your own using the key safe, or we can welcome you on-site after arranging a time by phone.
