The home and location were lovely. The home was spacious, the kitchen and shower remodel were really well done, and the peace and quiet were exceptional. The home is in Horse Cove, a quiet, out of the way part of the Highlands plateau area that sits in the shadow of Blackrock Mountain, part of the Whiteside Mountian escarpment. The home is close to Highlands and Cashiers but away from the hustle and bustle. The best part is you can turn out of the driveway and get to some of the most beautiful, peaceful trails and waterfalls in the area within 5-20 minutes. With no WiFi, a weak phone signal, it’s a wonderful place to disconnect, calm the noise of the world, and recover yourself.
