Awesome ocean view. Tons of parking, we had 2 vehicles. Kitchen had everything you could ever need as far as dishes, utensils, pans, dish soap, drying rack, etc. Heaters work great. It's a 3rd floor room (makes the view better) . I went up and down those 3 flights of stairs probably 20 times a day. There is an elevator quite a ways down the hallway that we only used for luggage. I did not see any pet hair, nor smell any pet smells, but one of us has bad allergies and really couldn't spend much time in the unit, except to sleep, due to allergic reactions to previous pets, which you can't really avoid when traveling with dogs. People and other pets seemed friendly and safe. There was one neighbor on one night who smoked on their balcony and we had to shut our windows. Unfortunate because we came all this way to get away from the forest fires to listen to the waves and smell the cool pacific air. There is one washer and dryer for the entire building! But they were always available for us and worked awesome. I ended up picking up some ear plugs because there was a droning motor type sound coming from the bathroom (not the fan). The ocean is half a mile away walking or you can drive right on to the sand if you go a couple blocks up the street. We really enjoyed our time fishing, kayaking, kite flying and beach walking. As far as hotels on the waterfront go, this is perfect for our budget and needs and we'll be back for sure.
