Welcome to your beautifully renovated and stylishly decorated cottage, offering a bright and airy open-concept living room and kitchen. This inviting home features an attractive white exterior and a welcoming front porch, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. Inside, you`ll find multiple comfortable bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, and spacious living areas designed for relaxation and enjoyment.

Discover the ultimate hangout in our converted garage game room, designed for year-round fun. Challenge your companions to an arcade game, ping pong, or foosball, or simply relax and watch TV. A radiant heater keeps you cozy in winter, while a large fan ensures comfort on warmer days, making this space enjoyable no matter the season. Step outside to a lovely back patio, ideal for unwinding.

Guests will enjoy convenient and easy access to their private retreat. The entire cottage and its amenities are exclusively available for guest use.

Self check-in via smart lock ensures a smooth and private arrival. While we respect your privacy, we are always available by message or phone to assist with any questions or needs during your stay.

We were in town for a wedding weekend. We had a total of 6 adults that stayed here. The wedding was at Countryside Banquet and Catering in Washington, IL. So the drive was simple and under 15 minutes from the Cottage on Columbus . We also enjoyed walking to the restaurants, ice cream at The Daily Scoop and Pour Brothers Craft Taproom as well as the local outstanding bakery, Trefzger’s. Known for scrumptious items but my fav are the thumb print cookies. This is a nice and safe neighborhood for night life. The Cottage on Columbus is just as safe and sits in a quiet neighborhood. We all had comfy sleeps - the upstairs loft might be challenging for a tall person due to the angled ceilings - however it’s spacious. The whole cottage was decorated nice, not overdone, simple but tasteful and very clean! Loved the options of games, bikes and extra tv in the garage/arcade area. We will return.

I own several investment properties and coach two youth hockey teams, including an all-girls team for my daughter. When not busy with my family’s activities (golf, wrestling, soccer, hockey), I’m a competitive powerlifter and strongman. Excited to share my home and host you!
