Truly an amazing mountain experience in a modern style house. This home is very private with unmatched views from either level. From the moment you walk in the door (smells like a new home), it is immaculate with high end appliances and fixtures. Lots of room with 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, large bedrooms (very comfortable beds) and 2 massive decks. I cant say enough about this property, its amenities and its views. Worth every penny to stay at such a magical place. We looked at hundreds of properties before deciding on this one. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a higher end accommodation. Communication with the hosts is fantastic and they are there to answer any question you have about the house or area. The location is just off a major roadway (as major as they get there) and roads are all paved (paved driveway). The drive on the Blue Ridge Pkwy to the home is something everyone needs to experience. About 40 minutes from Brevard, which has nice shops and restaurants.Dont hesitate, this is one property that you should not miss.

Thank you, Leslie and Ian. We are so happy you all had a great experience and enjoyed The Lodge. We strive to take care of our guests, especially those coming from afar — we really wanted to make sure you were well taken care of. We were also thrilled you loved the house as much as we do. You’re welcome back anytime.

So...full disclosure...my wife is begging me to buy her a house just like this now. I'm not sure how I feel about that...Aside from that, the house was pretty amazing. Everything was as described and the hosts were very accommodating for us! The relaxing atmosphere and scenic views were a nice break from city life. If you're looking for a secluded place where you can relax and recharge, this is the one for you! Also the downstairs couch was super comfy!

Southport, NC is my hometown and my husband is from Green Bay, WI.
We meet in Southport when my husband was in the Navy at Camp Lejeune.
We always thought it would be great to have homes at the opposite ends of the state.
When our daughter and her family moved to Brevard with our only grandchild it was time.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We wanted unrestricted land so we could build what we wanted. I really didn't want to be that far away from a town but when I saw the view I was sold...
So we built an energy efficient home with solar, tesla power wall for back up when the power goes off. Triple pane windows, sliding doors, spray foam insulation and so much more.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The Sunset that we get to enjoy everyday that we are there is absolutely beautiful
