Enjoy your vacation in our romantic vacation rental “Utspann” in the town of Norden-Norddeich, East Frisia, located within the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. The country house was remodeled and completely renovated in 2022-2023.
With approximately 90 square meters of living space, the Utspann vacation rental is ideal for an unforgettable family vacation for up to 5 people or a romantic getaway for two. The house features a living room with a lounge area, a kitchen with a large dining area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a shower. The bathroom has a medicine cabinet that is out of reach of children. The sofa bed is located in the lounge area of the living room. Additionally, the living room is equipped with a 70-inch TV and a PlayStation 3 with various games and controllers, which guests are welcome to use. The PlayStation is also great for watching DVDs. The low ceilings and exposed old wooden beams create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The country-style kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, electric stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and refrigerator with a freezer compartment. Bedroom 1 features a double bed measuring 160x200 and a large, spacious closet with an ironing board, iron, and vacuum cleaner. Bedroom 2 also has a double bed measuring 180x200 and a wardrobe. Both bedrooms have a window overlooking the garden. The beds will be made upon your arrival. The linens package is included in the price. Wi-Fi is available in the vacation rental.
From the living room and the large terrace that runs along the outside of the house, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the 1,800-square-meter natural garden. What makes the garden special is its diverse variety. In addition to flower beds, the garden features a garden shed and a large lawn. The lawn offers plenty of space for playing and can be used as a sunbathing area. Wooden chairs and a table are located in the large garden shed and are available for use as needed. There are also seating options on the covered terrace. For the children, there’s a slide, sandbox, swing, nest swing, trampoline, a rebounder, and a badminton net with rackets! The badminton net is located in the garden shed. There’s also a grill there, which you’re welcome to use. To the west of the entire garden lies a typical East Frisian pasture landscape. There, you can admire the sheep and enjoy the beautiful sunset from the terrace. The view of this beautiful landscape is unobstructed.
The driveway to the Utspann vacation rental offers parking space for three vehicles.
Bed linens and towels are provided in the vacation rental and included in the price. However, you are also welcome to bring your own bed linens and towels. If you plan to do so, please let us know in advance.
We also provide two travel cribs and a high chair.
Overall, the vacation rental is located in a quiet and central area. The Landhus Utspann is completely ground-level, except for two small steps inside the apartment and in the shower. The North Sea in Norddeich is just 3.5 km away. There are beautiful bike routes along this route that are very easy to manage, even with children. You’ll find a bike rental shop about 350 meters away. You can also buy fresh eggs from free-range chickens about 100 meters away. Near the vacation rental, you’ll find various discount grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, snack bars, and other shopping options that are easily accessible by car or bike. There’s also a playground near the vacation rental. If you’d like to experience more activities, we recommend a visit to the seal sanctuary, the indoor swimming pool, the automobile museum, the Waloseum, or the Nordertor. The Norden train station is 3.4 km from Landhaus Utspann. Gas stations are also located within easy reach of the vacation rental.
