This is challenging to write. The house is beautiful. It is updated and clean and the location is amazing. We were walking distance to many venues and parking was not an issue. However, there are a couple of things I think need mentioning. I thought the listing said the house sleeps 4. We had 3 of us and I got charged quite a bit extra for a third person. (I didn’t notice when I booked and that is on me!) There are two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and a half bathroom on the first floor. Each full bathroom had only one bath towel. There were no hand towels to use to dry our hands in any of the bathrooms. We messaged to get more towels, and 2 towels arrived several hours later at 10:30 at night. There was exactly one kitchen towel in the house. There were 3-5 of each type of dish-plates, bowls, glasses, forks, spoons, etc. There were no cooking utensils (no spatula, cooking spoons, or tongs) and everything that was there still had price tags. There was nothing to use to make coffee! Not even a tea pot. We got locked out of the house (our fault) but it took over two hours to get the key so we missed over two hours of the event we were in town to attend. My initial thought was that this is a very inexperienced host and we must be the first guests, but when we got locked out we were told the previous guest had mistakenly left with the key. So we weren’t the first, which means the lack of supplies is just what…willful indifference? Not sure I would stay again.

Regarding the lockout, we understand how frustrating it was to miss part of your event, and while we worked as quickly as possible to resolve the situation, we regret the inconvenience it caused. We also appreciate your comments about the towels and kitchen supplies. Guest feedback is valuable, and we've reviewed our inventory to ensure the home is appropriately stocked with the essentials guests expect, including additional towels, kitchen utensils, and coffee-making equipment. Our goal is to provide every guest with a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we're sorry that we fell short in your experience.
