Beauty and Comfort Near the Rhine River and the Black Forest
This luxurious apartment is surely one-of-a-kind in Bad Säckingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Just a few short meters away from the Rhine River and the beautiful wooden bridge (Holzbrücke) that connects with the quaint Village Stein in Switzerland, this old German city is sure to be worth the visit. There are numerous places to shop and eat ~ and the PfeifferBeck Bäckerei (Bakery) is an absolute must for wonderful specialty coffees and delicious home-baked goods! We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful breakfast/brunch here for much less than what it would cost back in the USA. Lastly, a lowly drive outside the city and a short hike will find you at the highest point in Germany (aside from the Swiss Alps) in the famous Black Forest (Schwarzwald). There is a restaurant just a few hundred meters walk above the parking area, so no need to pack a lunch. All in all, this is a cozy and beautifully appointed VRBO. Huge kudos to the host for this dreamy Deutschland destination!
