Welcome to this white wooden holiday home in Stora Kilane within walking distance of Lake Ånimmen in the beautiful Dalsland countryside. The house is bright and comfortably furnished and is the ideal starting point for many excursions for active nature lovers. After a long day, you can enjoy a cosy evening on the comfortable sofa with board games and refreshments. Go out on the terrace in the morning with a cup of coffee. Afterwards you can go on a fishing trip and experience the dreamlike tranquillity.



Outdoor activities in Dalsland, the picturesque province of 1,000 lakes, are a must. The very special landscape invites you to go canoeing, fishing, hiking and swimming. Maybe you'll spot a moose? Lake Ånimmen with the island of Henriksholm is part of the Dalsland Canal lake system together with Lake Ärr. Explore the hilly Sörknatten nature reserve. Here, the altitude varies between 50 and 142 metres above sea level. The almost bare mountain ridges are often called "knattar" in Swedish. Did you know that a large part of the film Ronja Rövardotter was shot around Mount Sörknatten? This is where she uttered her famous spring cry. Lake Vänern is of course also ideal for a full-day excursion.
