The Reservoir House – West is a newly renovated 2-bedroom retreat at the entrance to the Mt. Etna Boat Ramp and Bloodroot Trail on Salamonie Reservoir. Featuring one king bed, one queen bed, a fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV, and 100 Mbps fiber Wi-Fi, it’s the perfect home base for fishing, boating, hiking, hunting, or relaxing. Enjoy a private rear deck, self check-in, and ample parking for boats, trailers, and oversized vehicles.
House Rules
Check-in: After 4:00 PM
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Maximum occupancy: 6 guests.
No smoking or vaping inside the home.
No parties or events.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Only registered guests are permitted unless approved in advance.
Pets are not allowed unless approved prior to booking.
Please respect neighboring apartment and keep outdoor noise to a minimum.
Boats and trailers are welcome—please park only in designated areas.
Report any damage or maintenance issues as soon as possible.
Before checking out, Load and start washing machine with all towels, load and start the dishwasher (if used), dispose of trash in the outdoor bins, and lock all doors and windows.
Turn off lights and set the thermostat to a reasonable temperature before departure.

You can’t go wrong with this one. Well equipped and practically brand new. Close to many local towns. Perfectly peaceful for relaxing on the front porch and watching the corn grow. Beds are new and comfortable. TV s in living room and bedrooms. Clean doesn’t describe it everything is shiny and new. Near boat ramps and camp grounds. Close to Huntington, Marion, Andrews and Wabash, located in Mt. Etna In. We came for the sad occasion of the death of my husbands mother. This gave us one less thing to worry about while going through the process. This was a return to our hometown and brought back many memories so glad we picked this one .

The rental was 1 side of what I would consider a duplex. The front porch was perfect to sit, rock and let you stress melt away. There is a nice table & chairs on the back deck. The inside was very clean, welcoming & roomy. There is a locked door in the back hallway that combines the 2 rental spaces into 1 large rental. I only comunicated with the host via text & seem to be very kind . They were quick to answer the couple questions I had. The area seems to be the same distance from Wabash or Huntington. Andrews has the cutest little restaurant called the The Place to Bee( it is seasonal so closes in October) & the food was delicious; the owners are very kind & made us feel like we friends. The Salamonie Beach area is about a 15 minute drive from the rental. I would most definitely stay at this location again.
