One standard spacious bedroom, and two loft bedrooms, each with their own staircase leading to the separate lofts. Each loft features a king bed, guests can enjoy restful nights and plenty of space to unwind. One bathroom with a soaking tub and full size shower, making mornings easy and hassle-free. The cottage stays cozy year-round thanks to heating and air conditioning. Property sits on 3.8 acres with plenty of room to be outside and over look the pond outside the back door or take a walk and wet your feet in the Comite river. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or planning your day, this serene retreat offers an excellent base for your getaway. Our place will help you feel at home while you visit the Baton Rouge area. Property is less than 10 minutes from the Airport and 20 minutes from Tiger Stadium.

Our family owns a small farm down the street and jumped in to purchase and rebuild this home after it burnt down in 2025. We wanted to give people a quiet place to get away from the city while still being close enough to enjoy its amenities.

This is a quiet neighborhood with a mix of older and newer homes. People in the neighborhood are known for looking out for each other and are very welcoming. The streets are well kept and perfect for quiet walks in the shade of old oaks and cypress. There a numerous ponds along the street and you might catch someone out fishing or see a chicken or two as you stroll.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This little cabin is so beautiful, a lot of elbow grease and neighborhood sweat went into making it what it is today. It is, as all things are, always a work in progress and we have big plans for outdoor amenities. All that aside, the porch is large and spacious. Made for an outdoor meal and a quiet evening. The walk to the back showcases a plethora of native tree's, plants and vines and the sandy beach is great for dipping your toes in or wading in the shallow water. The inside of the cabin is peaceful and stills smells of the wood it was recently built from. If we didn't live down the street we would have probably moved in here, but instead we are listing it for other people to enjoy.
