Lovely apartment in a working neighborhood
The house itself was lovely, well-kept and clean, with comfortable beds and a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay there very much. There is no elevator, as this is an older building, so future guests should know they will have to carry heavy things up stairs. This is a working neighborhood, not a tourist area, so there is considerable neighborhood noise but you can shut this out if the balcony doors are closed. The only negative for us was that there is a drought and we had the water shut off for more than a 24-hour period with very little warning, in a text received while we were at a family event in the evening. This meant that we were up at 2 a.m. filling pots and containers with water, taking showers, and washing clothes to beat an 8 a.m. shutoff time. This could have been avoided easily with 24-hours' notice, as it is a rolling shutoff the neighborhood knew was coming. Aside from that inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay.
