Are you looking for a vacation home for a beautiful mountain vacation with all kinds of activities in unique nature? This house by the river Gudbrandsdalslågen offers the perfect setting. The bright rooms are your retreat after an eventful day. Bake something delicious with your evening coffee or cook your favorite dishes together and put your feet up. On the terrace, you can take a deep breath of fresh air in the morning and leave your everyday worries behind.



The surrounding area offers a varied and exciting range of activities. Experience spectacular nature and magical views in the Reinheimen, Rondane and Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella national parks and the Dalsida nature reserve. As well as hiking and skiing in the mountains, you can also go on guided safaris and see musk oxen and moose up close. Or how about a guided horseback ride? Experience nature on the back of an Icelandic horse! Perhaps you are more interested in a rafting tour on the Gudbrandsdalslågen? There are also good fishing and swimming opportunities. The possibilities are endless! There is a store and a café within walking distance. From here it is also only a short drive to Dombås.

Excellent support from the property owner

The property is managed by Novasol who did not make sure that the property had the sheets and towels needed for the stay. To make up for that though the property owners drove over 300 kms on a Sunday to bring us what they needed. They went above and beyond and that set us up for a great stay while attending courses at Hjerleid. Hopefully they get a new property management company so they don't have to do that again. Would definitely stay here the next time I come for a course. It's right across the street from the school, has a full kitchen, full bath, and washing machine for longer stays. The only thing I would add is a second set of keys and instructions for connecting to the wifi network.

This apartment as advertised is really a fishing cabin. The cabin is in poor shape. The front door does not close completely. Paint is peeling off the front porch and picnic table. And the wooden fencing around the property has broken boards. There are also weeds growing through the stairs leading up to the front door.Inside the “cabin”, there were sheets for only one bed, no pillow cases, or covers for the comforters. There were towels however. The cabin has a musty smell to it. Lights over the kitchen counter did not work. And the breaker for the oven had to be turned off and on to get the oven to work. There was only one pot. A few more pots for cooking would be helpful. The light in the bathroom is too dim, and should be brighter.We did like the shower.In short the current advertising for the property is misleading. I would not have rented this property if I knew there would be all the deficiencies I have cited here.
