Holiday home in the highland of Småland

This charming holiday home is located right in the middle of Småland, about 45 kilometers away from Jönköping. In the holiday home there is enough room for five persons. The living space of about 60 square meters is distributed over two rooms as well as a modern kitchen and bathroom with shower, WC and washing machine. At the rear of the house there is a glazed veranda with opportunities for barbecue and sun deck.

Anneberg is a small locality with about 800 inhabitants and a lot of wood in the surrounding. Therefore you will have the opportunity for berry-picking or mushroom-picking or relaxing walks through the forest. For example, the hiking trail "Höglands-Vandringsled" is passing the landscape here and invites to go on a hiking tour or to go cycling. In summer you will be tempted by the lake "Älmeshultasjön" (about 3 km away) to go swimming or fishing.

The old "wooden town" of Eksjö is only 13 kilometers away from here and is worth a visit at any rate. The old town center demonstrates in a very impressive way how towns looked like in the past. So it is really no wonder that large parts of the old part of the town belong to the cultural heritage nowadays. If you follow road 40 from Eksjö, you will get to Vimmerby, well-known for "Astrid Lindgren´s World". Jönköping is about 50 kilometers away from the holiday home and it is also called "match town". And from that place you will reach the small locality of Gränna very fast, which is located at the eastern waterfront of the lake Vättern. Gränna is a typical tourist place in summer and famous for the manufacturing of sticks of candy (Polkagrisar) in all variations and tastes.
