The beautiful Fischbach valley is surrounded by spruce forests, meadows and pastures. The charming mountain village is the starting point for many exciting hikes. It should be mentioned that the new quality trail 'Schluchtensteig' leads past the house, up to the Bildstein, the highest viewpoint of Schluchsee, which protrudes from the fir and spruce trees. Here a wide view sweeps from the Feldberg over the deep blue lake. If you are lucky, you can admire an Alpine panorama. Just breathtaking! It zigzags down to the largest Black Forest lake. Luck for everyone who has a bathing suit with them. We continue, either to the idyllic Krummenhof by the lake over there to enjoy a hearty bacon snack or on the tranquil sea route back to the Schluchseeort, where plenty of gastronomic delicacies are offered.
There are hiking opportunities from Fischbach in all directions, north towards Raitenbuch, an idyllic village with many old Black Forest farms, depending on the season past lupines, foxgloves, willow-herb and various ferns and mosses.
