Explore the surrounding area. Take your bikes and explore the coast by car. The North Sea spa resort of Norden-Norddeich is located directly on the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here you can swim in the sea or go on a mudflat hike. It is also possible to visit the East Frisian islands of Langeoog or Spiekeroog on a day trip or take a boat trip to the seal banks. A visit to the seal rescue centre is also highly recommended, as you can see howlers being reared there, depending on the time of year.
