This is a super convenient location in a really nice area. Alex was super communicative and easy to deal with. The in-suite laundry was a HUGE plus. I didn't use the second bedroom den area, but it was good size for a single person to sleep in with luggage and stuff too. There were just a few little nit-picky things that kept this place from going to a full 5 stars. Firstly, the apartment is a bit more run-down than the photos suggest. The trim around the floor is all chipped, there's gaps in the flooring, and it looks like maybe there was some water damage at some point. Most of the towels and the dish scrubber had a little bit of a bacteria smell, again, maybe a bit of a problem with moisture in the place over time. Secondly, the kitchen wasn't well stocked at all. The only frying pan was rusty and unusable. I had to poach the eggs I bought to eat for breakfast in the one pot available. The toaster only has one side that works properly. There's no chef's knife and no cutting boards. Most frustratingly, there's no bowls. No small eating bowls and no mixing bowls either. Less important, but there's no water glasses either, just mugs. The kitchen was one of the main draws for me to book this place so I found this stuff a bit disappointing. These things are mostly easy fixes, so I hope they make the appropriate changes. It really is a wonderful location that's a beautiful 15 minute walk to downtown or to the Skydome. It's listed at a good price too.
