Located in Pienza, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, this stone villa is just 5 minutes from the historic center, which you can also reach on foot in a few minutes.



The villa consists of 3 apartments, including Il Giogo, which at 135 sqm is the largest of the property and can accommodate 4 to 8 people. It features two triple bedrooms (each with a double bed and a single bed) and two bathrooms; the spacious rooms allow for an extra bed in each. The apartment has a fully equipped private kitchen, air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, washing machine, and a baby cot. The outdoor area is furnished with tables and chairs, and from the private balcony you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Val d'Orcia and Monte Amiata.



Outside, you will find a garden and a panoramic terrace offering breathtaking views of the valley and the cathedral of Pienza. A shared ping pong table is available for your enjoyment.



The property offers two parking spaces and an optional shuttle service to the train station, available for an extra fee.



This is the ideal place for a relaxing weekend or week-long stay. Upon reservation, you can organize aperitifs, dinners, and extra virgin olive oil tastings on the panoramic terrace, to fully appreciate the beauty of the valley and the view of the cathedral of Pienza.

Gorgeous place!

Wonderfully located very close to Pienza, which is a wonderful cobblestone town with wine tasting and food galore ! We loved the. Location and the host was wonderful with helping us to find reservations for local tours. We will come back!

Goseff the host is wonderful just as this property. It is huge very clean and located right under pienza. The views are beautiful and Goseffd is wonderful, he came past midnight to deliver extra blanket when I texted him it was cold. That’s how you know he truly takes care of his guests.

Everything about our stay was perfect.

Pros: Our stay at il Casato was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Our apartment was great, the beds comfy and the view is the best anywhere. The walk up the traditional path up to Pienza was beautiful and it was nice to not have to take our car up into the town. Giosef, Michael and Mama Sabatini’s kindness and warm welcome made us feel like family. This is the best place you could possibly stay in Tuscany, and a wonderful home base for day trips. Cons: Everything was perfect.

This was, by far, the nicest stay of anywhere I’ve ever stayed in Italy.The apartment was lovely - good bedrooms, comfortable beds, gorgeous bathrooms, a lot of space overall. Also has laundry and a small kitchen, including a fridge for all the cheese you will inevitably buy.The host, Giosef, was absolutely wonderful - very communicative, very helpful, and so inviting. We had dinner on the terrace at the agrotourismo, made fresh for us by his family, and it was DELICIOUS. Might have been the best meal we had over the entire trip.Should I ever find myself in Tuscany again, this will be the place I book my stay.Thank you Giosef!!!

Pictures will NEVER do the property or apartment justice. This property is in the Val D’orcia, which is one of the most cinematic and photographed regions of the world. You can see the beautiful PERFECT little town of Pienza from the property. Splurge and bring a good camera, so you can decorate your walls with the most beautiful landscape your eyes I’ve ever seen!Giosef is beyond an accommodating host. We arrived late, but he gave us a beautiful tour of our apartment, the property, and checked us in with our passports just before we took to the road again to the restaurant in which he made reservations for us. He provided additional information related to local sightseeing opportunities and was extremely patient as we were a few minutes late when leaving. Unfortunately, for us, we had booked wine tasting and a cooking class in nearby cities and didn’t get the opportunity to stay and enjoy aperitivo on the shared terrace. It is a regret that I hope to erase when we return!The first picture is the landscape from your apartment view and the second picture is your view of Pienza from the Terrace.The third picture is a landscape view from town while the fourth is a view from inside perfect Pienza. It’s truly the “ideal city” Pope Pius II intended it to be and is just a short walk from the property!
