Beautiful home in Rovinj

This vacation accommodation consists of two old Istrian houses on a 1500 m2 plot. The houses were completely renovated in 2010 to offer our guests comfort and privacy. The larger building has two floors. On the first floor is the kitchen with dining area and the spacious living room, three bedrooms are on the upper floor. The smaller building also has a kitchen with dining area and a living room on the first floor and two beautifully decorated rooms on the upper floor. The vacation home has a total of six bathrooms. In the fully walled and gated courtyard there is a 36 m2 swimming pool and an outdoor dining area. There is also a large barbecue by the pool for enjoyable evenings with family or friends.



On the beautiful west coast of Istria, just below the Limski Channel, you will find the most romantic place in the entire Mediterranean region! The town of Rovinj is the ideal destination for anyone longing for the sentimental atmosphere of times long past. Due to the lack of space, the houses are densely packed, the streets are narrow and the squares are small. Modern urbanism has not yet found its way here. Nearby is the pretty town of Svetvincenat with its Renaissance church and the spectacular ruins of Grimani Castle, which you can discover here.Istria is a feast for the eyes. Its rivers flow towards the sea through deep valleys and gorges reminiscent of ancient local giant legends. A gentle hilly landscape is the backdrop for fields and valleys, small villages perched on hills and reminiscent of old paintings.



If you discover the beauties of Kanfanar, you will also come across one of the most important cultural monuments of the World Heritage Site, the medieval town of Dvigrad. Krmed is located in the Kanfanar region. The tourist attractions of Rovinj and Pula and other highlights are just a short drive away. The nearest beaches with quiet places to relax are only 15 minutes away from the vacation home.

Unser Urlaub in der Villa Marko war sehr schön. Die Betreuung der Eigentümerin Izabella war hervorragend. Sie war stets bemüht unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Der Garten- und Poolanlage ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet, so dass wir uns sehr gerne dort aufhielten. Zudem waren auch ausreichend Liegen am Pool vorhanden. Die Küche ist mit allen notwendigen Dingen ausgestattet und alle Zimmer sind klimatisiert. Rovinj ist nur 20 Autominuten entfernt. Es gibt auch viele schöne Strände in nur 20-30 Minuten Entfernung.

Wir waren Anfang Juli 2024 mit 12 Personen in der Villa Marco. Zuerst hatten wir ein paar Dinge zu bemängeln (wenig Ausstattung im kleinen Haus; WLAN nur im großen Haus empfangbar) aber die Gastgeberin hatte sich sofort darum gekümmert. Der Kontakt über Nachrichten per Telefon war problemlos auf Deutsch möglich. Sehr schön! Schön war auch die Karte für die Gästeschranke für den Campingplatz, auf dem wir den Strand dadurch problemlos nutzen konnten.

Wir waren im August/September 22 mit drei Familien (6 Erw, 6 Kinder und zwei Hunde) in der Villa Marco und können diese bedenkenlos empfehlen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und die Häuser in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die meisten Räume sind klimatisiert und der Pool wird alle 3 - 5 Tage gesäubert. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich. Das komplette Gelände ist umzäunt, so konnten die Hunde immer draußen spielen. Die großzügigen Terrassen.- und Grillanlagen sind auch bei der hohen Anzahl von Leuten ausreichend bemessen. Die Lage des Anwesens ist sehr ruhig und mit dem Auto ist man in 20 Min. am Strand oder einem großen Supermarkt. Kleinere Besorgungen wie Brötchen und Lebensmittel gibt es sogar im Nachbarort. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden in den 14 Tagen einmal gewechselt. Wir können nichts negatives über den Aufenthalt berichten und geben der Anlage die volle Punktzahl

Die Villa ist perfekt für größere Gruppen.

Die Villa ist perfekt für größere Gruppen. Das Pool wird immer wieder gereinigt während des Aufenthalts und ist top! Die Outdoor Grillstelle haben wir öfter genutzt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und stand jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Badezimmer sind etwas klein und dunkel (bis auf eines) - aber dafür punktet die Location mit vielen anderen Vorteilen. Klimaanlage ist in allen Räumlichkeiten verfügbar. Die Veranda mit Weitblick ist sicherlich auch ein Highlight. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
