Property itself was perfect. Location, views, amenities, comfortable beds. Our issue was with the host. ?’s asked before our trip , submitted through the app,left unanswered(red flag) Accessing the unit upon arrival was beyond difficult due to lack of simple basic information not provided. (Where was key lock box? Which apartment? How to get into the building?) Once in the unit, the “information folder” provided by the unit owner was full of information about the town/area. Zero information about the unit/facility. Internet password was a handwritten piece of paper left on the coffee table that was illegible. Laundry facilities-no information, trash/ recycle instructions-no information. Reached out to host “we’ll get back you” “try this password” and finally a message that told us to look in the folder the owner had left in the unit after I had clearly stated that information was not in the folder.i posted a photo of the handwritten WiFi password on Facebook to ask family & friends how they read the characters. It became an international guessing game. Not being able to access the WiFi used up my international data plan much quicker than I planned causing additional expense. One positive about the host, once we landed at the airport and reached out as we were instructed, they allowed us to enter the unit hours before the scheduled check in time. That was much appreciated. It became clear to us that the host hadn’t been in the unit in a while, if ever. Interhome never again
