You don't have to go far to find a wealth of activities. Hike to the Skardbekkstupen Foss waterfall and explore the Skorbekklia nature reserve. After a long hike, you can relax on Hammarengstrand and refresh yourself in the Klarälven river. The mountain Skagsvola and the waterfalls "Røfallene" near the lake Engeren are also nice excursion destinations. In summer, Trysil offers a golf course, a climbing park, an adventure park and perfect conditions for cycling. On a hot summer's day you can swim in Gjetsjøen between Østby and Trysil. You can also go canoeing in the area.
