Kongsmark Strand offers beautiful sandy beaches, a paradise for families. You can experience an almost southern atmosphere here all summer long. Swim in the water, play in the sand with your children and simply soak up the sun. Here you live a short distance from the golf course and the lively commercial town of Slagelse. Slagelse is also home to one of Denmark's largest barracks, so you can experience the guard hussars riding through the town every Wednesday. If you are a Viking, it is worth visiting Trelleborg Viking Castle near Hejninge, which is working towards being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is very interesting.
