Beautiful Småland villa in a small village by a lake in southern Sweden
!!!!ATTENTION!!!! Unfortunately, in the Fewo booking tool, I cannot exempt children from the additional fees for extra guests when entering the number of guests. For this reason, please note that if you book for more than 2 adults, an additional €20 per adult per night will be charged.
Over the past 3 years, we’ve put in a lot of hard work and dedication to renovate our beautiful house in Sweden.
Now we’ve decided to share it with others, and it’s available for rent starting immediately.
Our Småland villa, with a living area of 220 square meters, is situated on a plot of land measuring a good 2,000 square meters in the small village of Boda Glasbruk.
On the first floor, you’ll be greeted by a spacious hallway that opens up to the large living area and then flows into the dining room. From the dining room, you can step out onto the beautiful terrace, which features a seating area and a hot tub for relaxation. To the right is the large, fully equipped kitchen, which also includes a small dining area. Continuing straight ahead takes you to the lower shower room and the utility room with a washer and dryer.
The staircase in the hallway leads to the upper floor, where the bedrooms and another shower room are located. The house has a total of 5 1/2 bedrooms, though one is locked as we use it to store our personal belongings. Of the 4 1/2 available bedrooms, 3 have a comfortable double bed, 1 has a bunk bed, and the “half” bedroom has a pull-out double bed. Two of the bedrooms measure 180x200 cm and each has a TV in the room. The other two bedrooms each have a pull-out bed measuring 160x200 cm and a bunk bed with two sleeping areas, each measuring 90x200 cm. The “half” bedroom is separated by curtains at the end of the hallway and contains another pull-out double bed measuring 160x200 cm.
We also have a guest bed, a cot for babies, and a travel crib for children in the house.
The house has internet/Wi-Fi via Starlink. On cold days, warmth is provided by the two tiled stoves on the first floor as well as the electric radiators distributed throughout the house. There are also two air-source heat pumps in the house, which can be used for heating as well as for air conditioning on hot days. The garden also features a kettle grill and a fire pit with a grill plate.
There is a small café in the village, but it’s only open during the summer vacation season.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t open at all for the last two years (2024 and 2025). Adjacent to it is the “village square” with a playground. There’s also a glass factory with a museum and an attached café.
The nearest lake, Bodasjön, is within walking distance on the outskirts of the village. There’s a swing set, a sandbox, seating, and a fire pit with a grill. Here you can prepare, grill, and enjoy your freshly caught fish right away
The nearest shopping options are in Nybro, about a 10-minute drive away. On the way to Nybro, there’s a moose park that’s well worth a visit. There’s also a small trout pond there where you can fish for a small fee.
Also worth visiting are the beach in Bläsinge on Öland, the port city of Karlskrona, or the city of Växjö—all about 70 km away—or Astrid Lindgren’s World, about 130 km away.
