Mountain Magic! This cabin sits at 10,000 feet in Fairplay, and Kayla’s care is as rarefied as the mountain air. She is a superhost in every sense, truly top one percent.We arrived for the season's first snow, a gift for two well-cooked Texans. The air is crisp, and the stillness is profound—a deep quiet where you can hear snow settle. Wide windows frame golden aspens glowing against fresh snow and the Mosquito Range, including five 14ers. Sunrise and sunset paint the backdrop in stunning color. Jalieh found a daily dose of awe here.The bedroom brings the mountains inside: warm wood ceilings, cloud-like pillows, and a peak-printed duvet in blue and slate.The comforts are thoughtful and modern. Taraz loved the tech touches, from remote-controlled shades to smart lighting. Fast internet easily handles video calls and streaming.Choose your own rhythm. The kitchen makes cooking a joy, well-stocked with coffee and teas, alongside a full-size fridge, washer, and dryer. Cozy up to the wood stove and hibernate in comfort, or venture out to South Park City in Fairplay, stroll historic Main Street in Breckenridge, or explore the valley.Kayla was wonderfully responsive. What stays with us is the spirit behind every detail, down to the welcome towel art on the counter—hospitality offered as true service.We now understand why Texans fall in love with Colorado. We leave grateful, restored, and are already dreaming of our return. Highly recommended!
