We fell in love with the history and charm of the LeClaire neighborhood. Tree-lined streets, beautiful historic homes, and a strong sense of community make it one of our favorite areas of Edwardsville. We love being able to walk to LeClaire Park, the Edwardsville Children’s Museum, and nearby trails, while downtown Edwardsville, local restaurants, shops, and SIUE are just minutes away. It’s a neighborhood with a story, and we’re excited to share a small piece of it with our guests.

What makes this home special starts the moment you arrive! The beautiful foyer features the original front door with its mechanical twist doorbell and diamond-shaped window. Throughout the 100+ year-old home, original doors and woodwork remain, and much of the bedroom furniture dates to the 1940s and belonged to the family connected to the home’s original builder. These authentic pieces, paired with modern comforts and plenty of space, make staying here feel like experiencing a little piece of Edwardsville history.
