1000 meters above fog line, overlooking the Energy Village Donnersbachwald, lays the COUNTRY HOUSE Riesneralm. It’s quiet, sunny location on the edge of the forest boasts a magnificent view of the town and the surrounding mountains.

This beautiful valley, with its fresh mountain air, offers guests the chance to relax, recharge and rejuvenate while enjoying countless leisure activities throughout all four seasons.

COUNTRY HOUSE Riesneralm is build according to ecological criteria, and equipped with an environmentally friendly photovoltaic system

Situated direct on the ski slope to have Ski in and out.
The Riesneralm ski area (part of the Schneebärenland ski area) the mountain is a winter vacation destination well-known for its manicured slopes, unique children's ski swing, ski school and a sledge run.
With deep snow decents and freestyle areas, both amateur and expert skiers will enjoy the trails through the valley.

In the warmer months, numerous hiking and mountain bike tours start just outside the front door. Alpine huts invite you to enjoy a needed break or maybe a cozy picnic. Big and small treasure hunters are sure to enjoying searching for the precious almandine garnets to be found in the clear mountain streams.

Guests of the town center will find many activities including a swimming pond and a beach volleyball court and within a 15 to 40 minute drive you will find 6 golf courses that will make any golfer's heart beat faster.

The friendly 3-room apartment was designed in Alpine style
furnished.
With around 85 square meters of living space, it offers comfortable holiday enjoyment for up to 5 guests.
The kitchen is complete with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine
Fridge equipped with freezer compartment. A cozy dining area and a comfortably rustic one
Wood stove complete this room.
Pine wood on the walls ensures your comfort in the living room and bedrooms.
The bedrooms have double beds and a fat TV. throughout the house
Internet via WiFi is available free of charge.
The rooms are completed by a bathroom with shower and a separate one
WC and a large entrance area.

A sauna and wellness area with approximately 45m/2 can be booked extra for a separate fee

Winter
Donnersbachwald is a paradise for the big and little snow fans. Enjoy curve drawing on snowy, perfectly groomed slopes + award-winning, stop-offs or relax with the apres-ski life. Deep snow - and freestyle addicts will find untouched powder descents, the new Cross Ride track, a track is prepared over hills, steep curves and through tunnels.
The kids ski area is has 5 lifts. They will enjoy Plates flash and magic carpets, as well as the Snow Magic ski school, a complete package to inspire your kids.
Also 16 km cross-country trail through the valley (the entrance is just 400 meters from the chalet), or explore the nature on winter hiking paths. The 4000m long sledge run from the Mörsbachalm is one more adventure for guests.
