Welcome to “Haus Hagadal in Ryd-Alshult,” your idyllic retreat on Lake Åsnen in Småland, Sweden. This spacious vacation home, perfect for up to 8 adults and 2 children, offers not only a sauna for relaxing moments but also an unparalleled experience of nature, ideal for families and nature lovers.

Nestled on a 3,000 m² property that borders directly on the forest and is only about 100 meters from the clear waters of Lake Åsnen, Haus Hagadal promises a stay filled with both tranquility and activity. The child-friendly outdoor area, featuring a large sandbox and a double swing, invites the youngest guests to play to their hearts’ content, while nearby Lake Åsnen is a paradise for anglers and canoeists.

The house itself is a successful blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. The large family kitchen is not only a place to cook but also a cozy gathering spot. The most recent addition includes another bedroom, an extra bathroom, and a sauna with a shower—the perfect place to unwind after a day of outdoor adventures.

The first floor features two bedrooms and an additional living room that can also be used as a bedroom, allowing the house to adapt flexibly to the needs of your family or group. The careful renovation has preserved the house’s original character, and the traditional furnishings enhance the cozy atmosphere.

There is a wide range of recreational activities available. You can explore the lake with a canoe and two rowboats (optionally equipped with a motor). Please note that the boats are available for rent during peak season, and the terms and security deposit must be arranged with the owner.

The surrounding countryside is rich in mushrooms and berries, and the nearby Trollbergen National Park offers exciting experiences, especially for children. Alshult, described as one of the most beautiful places in southern Sweden, offers a unique experience with its romantic setting on Lake Åsnen and its picturesque access road.

Additional amenities in the house include air conditioning, a hair dryer, heating, an iron and ironing board, and a washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator, and more, and the dining area seats 10 people. For entertainment, there are books, a TV with satellite/cable, games, and a ping-pong table. There are special books, games, and toys for children.

Outside, you’ll find a balcony, a covered patio, a fire pit, a large garden, and an outdoor play area. Two bicycles are available for exploring the surrounding area (please repair them yourself if necessary).

The house is located in a small village with seven scattered houses along a narrow road, surrounded by the natural beauty of Lake Åsnen. The rural setting, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, offers a peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to experience Swedish country life up close.
