Kappl in Tyrol is a gem for holidaymakers who want to experience the beauty of the Alps in a quieter, family-friendly environment. Located in the breathtaking region of the Paznaun Valley, Kappl offers a perfect mix of sporting activities and relaxation opportunities for every season.

In winter, Kappl turns into a snow paradise, ideal for skiers and snowboarders looking for peace and quiet away from the big ski resorts. With its compact but varied ski area, which is particularly family-friendly, visitors can ski on sunny slopes and enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery. Cross-country skiers and winter hikers will also find their happiness here on well-prepared trails and footpaths.

As spring begins, the snow melts to reveal lush green alpine meadows, perfect for hiking, mountain biking and paragliding adventures. Kappl offers a variety of hiking trails for all levels of difficulty, from gentle walks to challenging mountain tours. Cyclists appreciate the varied routes leading through the picturesque valley.

Kappl also has a lot to offer culturally. Traditional events, such as alpine festivals and the annual sheep drive, give an insight into the local culture and way of life. The warm hospitality in the numerous inns and mountain huts makes every visitor feel immediately welcome.

Whether you are looking for the peaceful beauty of nature, enjoy sporting challenges or just want to experience Tyrolean culture up close, Kappl is an ideal destination for an unforgettable holiday all year round.

The 2024/25 winter sports season in Kappl ends on 30 March 2025 due to the new construction of the Diasbahn. However, guests can divert to the ski resorts of See and Ischgl, which are easily accessible by ski bus
