Your stay in Marktleuthen, a town on the Eger River, is located in the heart of the Fichtelgebirge Mountains—centrally situated among the major county seats of Wunsiedel, Marktredwitz, and Selb. Within a 15-minute drive from here, you can reach indoor swimming pools, a thermal spa, shopping options, a theater, a movie theater, the Luisenburg (festival), and other cultural and sporting activities. Marktleuthen itself has a train station, two supermarkets, a pharmacy, a post office with a stationery store, a shoe store, butcher shops, pizzerias, and bakeries, including cafés. In less than 2 minutes by bike, you’ll reach the newly expanded Eger Bike Path, which takes you easily toward the Czech Republic, Selb, and the beautiful Wellertal valley. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Fichtelgebirge—in one of our vacation homes, which were built using a special construction method. Sustainable Wood Construction: Prevention Center and Vacation Homes with an Ecological Approach Our vacation homes—“Schneeberg,” “Epprechtstein,” and “Ochsenkopf”—awarded 5 stars by the German Tourism Association, feature sustainable solid-wood construction with a strong ecological focus. Our focus is on our commitment to environmental friendliness and sustainability throughout the entire construction process. We heat the homes with an efficient heat pump, while our own photovoltaic system provides the necessary electricity from renewable sources. During construction, we placed particular emphasis on using natural materials to create a harmonious connection with the environment. Additional Services—Right Next Door Right next to the vacation homes is our own physical therapy and massage practice, as well as our Activity Center. The Area Around the Vacation Homes The Fichtelgebirge offers numerous opportunities for nature lovers. Lake Weißenstadt, about 15 km away, is perfect for leisurely walks. The Kornberg offers hiking trails for all skill levels, and when weather conditions permit, winter sports like downhill skiing or cross-country skiing are even possible. For further adventures, a trip to the surrounding mountains—such as Kösseine, Schneeberg, and Ochsenkopf—is well worth it. Experience the diversity of the Fichtelgebirge and relax in our family-friendly setting. Payment is due on-site in cash or via advance payment (bank transfer). A deposit of 50% of the total price may be charged at any time after booking. Check-in is available from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys are handed over in person or via a key box. Pets are not allowed. An extra bed can be provided upon request. Included in the base price (towels, bed linens, Wi-Fi, parking, etc.)
