About the Accommodation

The cozily furnished 2-room flat, suitable for up to 4 people, is located on the ground floor and has a separate entrance. This cozy accommodation comprises a combined living and sleeping area, a separate bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a sunny terrace with an inviting seating area in the garden. In the bedroom, a comfortable double bed (180x200 cm) and a spacious wardrobe ensure your comfort. The adjoining bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC and bathroom sink. The combined living and sleeping area offers a pull-out bed with two single mattresses (90x200 cm each), a dining table with a corner bench, chairs and a TV with satellite reception. A raclette oven and a fondue set are available for cozy evenings. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, a hob, a fridge with freezer compartment and a Nespresso coffee machine. The terrace with its seating area and beautiful garden invites you to relax and enjoy. A high chair or baby cot can be provided on request. Pets are not allowed in the flat, but smoking is permitted outside. Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the flat. An outdoor car park in front of the chalet is available free of charge.

The pretty chalet "Speer" is located by a small stream in a quiet neighbourhood near the centre of Amden and can accommodate a total of 4 people. The cozily furnished 2-room flat is located on the ground floor of the house. The house is a very good starting point for hikes and excursions in the region. The village centre with shopping facilities such as the Volg and the Maxi Spar dairy, the Mattstock chairlift, the indoor swimming pool and various restaurants are close by and can be reached quickly on foot. Skiing is not far away either: the Arvenbüel family ski area with ski school is just a few minutes' drive away by bus or car. The small but beautiful Mattstock ski area can even be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The nearest bus stop "Amden, Brugg" is 450 metres from the house.

In the idyllic holiday region of Amden Weesen above the emerald-blue waters of Lake Walensee and surrounded by unique mountain landscapes, there is a wide range of activities on offer. Activities range from swimming spots, water sports, boat trips on Lake Walensee and varied hikes in summer and autumn, the impressive Seerenbach Falls in spring to snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and skiing in the small family ski resort of Amden in winter. Our tip: A hike to the Schafbett viewpoint with breathtaking views of Lake Walensee and the Glarus Alps. Several hiking trails lead to the cozy picnic spot at the viewpoint. Amden is located conveniently. The Lake Zurich region with the medieval town of Rapperswil and Zurich, Glarus and Chur are less than an hour's drive away.
