Very relaxing stay. Enjoyed the fireplace during the rain and the deck when the sun was out. Very quiet neighborhood.

Exterior needs to be cleaner and safer for sure. Trash needs to be secure due to bear distruction and clean up every morning. Some cleaning liquids on site would also be nice. For sanitizing counters table etc.

Amazing home

Rented this house for a family getaway and was not disappointed. Extremely clean house with a nice homey feel to it, and walking distance from the lake. Will definitely be coming back.

Yosemite half marathon

Location on Bass Lake is perfect. Easy walk to lake. Beautiful deck. Comfortable beds. We were in town for the Yosemite Half Marathon which finished at a Bass Lake campground. Location was perfect. A bit over half an hour to Yosemite entrance.

overall pretty good, just wished we didn't have to pay extra to check out later, but I guess that's how it is with a lot of places.

Nice Mountainside Retreat.

Home was conveniently located near larger lake-front home that was the location of our family reunion. Nice homey feel in the pines. Large deck is great for morning breakfast. The remotes for both bedroom lights turned on both bedroom lights, so that was inconvenient when someone needed a light on during the night.

Nice relaxing stay

Nice well appointed home. Lovely trees. The lake is just across the road - a short walk. Nice deck. Forgot to bring tissues. TV takes a while to switch on and off, not sure what’s going on there? Loved it. Great. Space perfect for a small family - three or four people. Go for it!

Too hot in the summer (no AC)

The house is nice and cozy, but without AC it’s too hot during the summer. We originally booked it for three nights, but left in the morning after the first night because it was too hot to stay there with two small kids. I also would not call “lake view” tiny glances of lake through dense trees. The beach near the house was very small because the water level was high, and it was not very good for swimming since there are so many boats on the lake that pollute it. Wifi was very good, which was essential since there was almost no cellular coverage in Bass lake.

Our local operations manager confirmed that the home has no air conditioner which our guests are aware of before booking, however, our homeowner is going to purchase additional fans. Also, guests can see the lake from the home but it is a partial view. We hope you will give us the opportunity to host you again. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future.
