The perfect starting point for experiencing the nature of the biosphere reserve—whether on foot along the numerous hiking trails, the Way of St. James, or by bike, for example, on the trails of the Pfälzerwald Mountain Bike Park. Everything is right on your doorstep.
Dog owners can enjoy nature with their four-legged friends on long walks through meadows and forests.
The German-French border is just a few minutes’ drive away. Head to Weißenburg, a charming border town with the charm of historic half-timbered houses and romantic alleyways.

Our vacation home is the perfect place to combine nature, relaxation, and socializing.
Originally built as a church and converted in 2010 into a vacation home suitable for groups and families, this property offers 274 m² of living space spread over 2 floors.
With 3 bedrooms (two 3-bed rooms and one 5-bed room), a spacious dining and living area, and a kitchen—fully equipped with everything you need for cooking—we can accommodate up to 11 people.
The large dining table offers plenty of space for hearty breakfasts as well as shared dinners. You can wind down the evening comfortably on the sofas in front of the fireplace or on the adjoining balcony.
Additional amenities include:
- On the upper floor, a bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and toilet
- on the first floor, another shower room and a separate toilet.
- Washing machine and dryer
- Board games, a ping-pong table, and a dartboard with accessories
We have parking spaces in front of the house and a garage for storing bicycles.
On-site fees: Our vacation home can be booked for a minimum of two nights. The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. We are closed from November through February. Our office hours are: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
