A vacation in the heart of the sun-drenched Palatinate, nestled among vineyards and the Palatinate Forest. Our lovingly furnished vacation home, “Casa Via,” is located in the center of the wine and vacation region of Wachenheim on the German Wine Route and offers the ideal starting point for anyone seeking nature, excursions, and relaxation—and who might also like to sample a glass or two of wine, sparkling wine, and regional specialties.

Cozy Living
This farmhouse, built in the early 19th century and refurbished in 2024 offers space for up to six guests across two floors totaling 130 square meters. Three bedrooms with double beds ensure a restful night’s sleep, and two bathrooms and separate restrooms in each provide convenience. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to whip up delicious meals for your group. In the open living and dining area—the former barn—you’ll find a cozy spot to enjoy meals together or simply sit, play, and plan your next outing.

Indulge in the rich culinary offerings of this gourmet region: Restaurants ranging from traditional Palatinate fare to upscale Michelin-starred cuisine are within walking distance of the vacation home.
Out in the Fresh Air
In the summer, guests can move breakfast out to the little garden—bread rolls and coffee can be passed out directly from the kitchen window—and round off the evening with a glass of wine outdoors.
A location close to nature
For those who want to explore the beautiful natural scenery, castles, palaces, museums, and amusement parks around the Wachenheim wine region with friends or family, the “Casa Via” vacation home—loosely translated as “House of Travel”—is the perfect choice. It’s located on a quiet side street near the center of Wachenheim. Just a few meters from the house, you can set out on hikes through the sea of vineyards and quickly reach certified hiking trails such as the “Pfälzer Weinsteig.” Not to be missed—and well worth the hike—is the Wachtenburg Castle ruin, which is beautifully illuminated in the evening and always a great place to stop for a break. The view from the castle tower sweeps over the town of Wachenheim below all the way to the Odenwald, and on clear days, even as far as the Black Forest.
Sauna included
After an eventful day, guests can relax in the on-site sauna at no additional cost. Towels and bed linens are also provided free of charge.
