This comfortable and high-quality apartment is located on the first floor of a detached single-family home in beautiful Ratingen-Hösel, where we live with our two children.
The apartment has its own separate entrance. The house is located on a quiet side street, and parking is available on the street in front of the house.
The apartment is available for two guests, or three upon request. It measures 60 square meters and features an open, bright living-dining area with access to a 12-square-meter south-facing terrace. The lawn is not included.
The living area includes a small workspace for office work.
The TV has cable reception with German channels.
Wi-Fi is available during your stay.
The bedroom has a double bed, and a fold-out bed can be provided in the living area. This means the sofa is available for normal use.
The new, modern, and high-quality open kitchen features an induction cooktop with a range hood, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, and a separate freezer. A coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle are provided.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the breakfast bar.
The bathroom, which is equally well-equipped, features a shower with a shower enclosure; a hair dryer is also available.
Included are bed linens, towels, kitchen towels, and final cleaning.
Hösel is surrounded by forests and offers numerous recreational activities, ranging from mountain biking and hiking to tennis and water sports on the nearby Baldeneysee in Essen.
Since we live close to the forest, it’s a wonderful place for walks or jogging.
At the end of the street is a café that offers fresh bread, rolls, and cake every morning (except Mondays) starting at 7 a.m. There’s a dry cleaner’s on the next street over.
It’s only about 800 meters on foot to the restaurant at the small Hösel train station.
In and around the Hösel town center, there are two supermarkets, a very popular ice cream shop, restaurants, a bookstore, a pharmacy, and a few other stores.
Whether by car or public transportation, Ratingen’s city center, Essen, Düsseldorf, and Cologne—as well as many other cities—are easily accessible.
By car, you can quickly reach the A52 and A3 highway connections.
The Hösel S-Bahn station (approx. 800 m, line S6) offers direct connections to Essen, Düsseldorf, and Cologne. From there, buses also run directly to Velbert, Ratingen, or Angermund.
