STUDIO NUNA: RENOVATED 1-ROOM FLAT IN THE FORMER MILL OF THE MOUNTAIN VILLAGE OF ARDEZ

Modern comfort in a historic building! The charmingly renovated 1-room apartment in the former mill of the Engadin mountain village of Ardez is one of a kind. Located about a 10-minute walk from the village center of Ardez, the house stands alone in absolute tranquility. Enjoy your most beautiful time of the year – your vacation in Ardez, a typical Engadin location, surrounded by sgraffito-decorated houses, the Swiss National Park, and a ski, family, and hiking offering that is unparalleled. In the same house, there is also a 4.5-room vacation apartment and a 1.5-room vacation apartment. The three apartments can also be rented together, an ideal option for larger families and multi-generational vacations. The owner lives in the 4th apartment.



The approximately 25m2 studio is located on the ground floor of the former mill in Ardez and was simply and modernly renovated in 2021. The apartment is suitable for 1-2 people. The house is very quiet, located slightly outside the village on the road to the picturesque Ardez-Sur-En, which is only inhabited in summer and was the main filming location for the Schellenursli film. Directly in front of the front door, a fountain with fresh Engadine water splashes. Shopping facilities and the post office are located in the village center (approx. 800m away). Salsiz, Landjäger, or Natura Beef meat can be obtained directly from the nearby Campell farm.



The Ardez train station is 650 m away and can be reached on foot in approx. 10 min. The Motta Naluns ski area can be reached by car via Ftan in 5 min, or by train via Scuol in 10 min. Ardez has a night trail that can be reached on foot in approx. 15 min. The neighboring village of Ftan also has the 8.5 km long Dario Cologna trail. The access road is regularly cleared in winter, but depending on snowfall and road conditions, snow chains or 4×4 drive are advantageous. A pickup service from the train station can be organized.



In summer, the entire Lower Engadine offers beautiful hikes, whether short or long. Popular is the hike from Ardez over a suspension bridge to Tarasp and then to Scuol or to Murtera d'Ardez, another filming location in the Schellenursli film. Additionally, the Swiss National Park is nearby.
