The Freckenhorst Abbey Cathedral is nearby and the Warendorf market square is also within easy reach. The downtown of Warendorf with its beautiful old town is about 3.8 km away. There you will find a rich selection of shops and restaurants as well as the famous NRW State Stud. Several supermarkets and drugstores are about 1.2 km away and offer all items for daily needs. The express bus takes a good 30 minutes to Münster.
The entrance to the Münsterland cycle path network is about 800 metres away. The gentle landscape has hardly any inclines and allows relaxed bike tours. Visit the neighbouring towns of Ennigerloh, Everswinkel and especially Telgte with its beautiful old town or cycle along the Ems.
