Holiday Home 'La Casa De Los Artistas' with Mountain View, Private Terrace and Wi-Fi

The artists' house is located on a quiet road, 10 minutes walk from the beautiful beach of Sa Riera. Your view is of a green area and part of the sea views.



The owners, Denise and Rupert, live next door and you are guaranteed a warm welcome.

The house faces east so you can watch the sunrise over the sea from your bed.... wonderful!



We are both artists with a passion for arts and crafts, so there are original pieces everywhere.



As well as being within walking distance of one of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Brava, it is only a few minutes drive to the charming and historic town of Begur. Wonderful restaurants and bars, excellent shopping and even the ruins of the castle can be enjoyed here.



We have two dogs, both rescued from appalling conditions, we have spent a lot of time and effort rehabilitating them. We decided to open our home to guests with dogs, as we know how difficult it is to find a rental that will accept them. You are welcome to bring your dog (let us know before booking), feel free to contact us.



We strongly recommend you to have a car around here. You can walk to the beach and back, but, if you want to visit the town of Begur, you would have to climb a steep hill.... just to fit in nicely!

The house is perfectly located to walk to beautiful Sa Riera beach, there is a good choice of restaurants within walking distance and Begur can be reached on foot within an hour following the Riera. There is plenty of cooking equipment if self catering is preferred, the bedrooms are comfortable, the terrace is ideal for sitting out and enjoying the surroundings. Denise and Rupert, and Luca the young dog, are wonderful hosts who kindly provided us with chilled cava, beer, olives and home baked bread. They are the most helpful hosts too who respect your privacy, but are always on hand if needed.

Gemütliches Haus in schöner, ruhiger Lage

Pros: Die Begrüßung durch Denise und Rupert war sehr nett, sie sind als Gastgeber absolut hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und reagieren sofort, wenn man ein Anliegen hat. Zur Begrüßung wurden wir mit Wein, Bier und Gebäck eingedeckt - später gab's sogar mal Kuchen sowie (Geheimtipp!) Ruperts sensationelle Tomatenmarmelade. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, hat zwei sehr schöne Terrassen, und die Lage ist sehr ruhig - selbst in der Hauptsaison ist abends absolute Ruhe, und man kann bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Auch für die Sicherheit ist gesorgt. Vor dem Haus war zudem immer ein Parkplatz verfügbar. Das Haus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann den Strand von Sa Riera (und von dort den Wanderweg über die Klippen nach Pals) auch ohne Auto ansteuern, für den Rückweg braucht man allerdings etwas Puste. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. 😊
