From here, it's an easy trip to Rạch Vẹm fishing village (same commune as Gành Dầu), one of the island's most authentic and beautiful fishing villages — a favorite with international travelers for its "local" feel: stilt houses over the water, floating fish farms, coracle boats, and the famous "starfish kingdom" (seen January–May).
