Gudhjem is a charming coastal village on Bornholm and impresses with its picturesque location on the Baltic Sea. The steep, cobbled streets and colourful houses give the village a special flair. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and rolling hills, the region offers numerous hiking and cycling trails with breathtaking sea views, including the popular Helligdomsklipperne trail. Visitors can explore the nearby round churches of Østerlars and Nylars, which are known for their unique architecture. A highlight is exploring the fascinating Bornholm castles, such as the ruins of Hammershus, which offer impressive views of the coast.



For those interested in art and culture, there are local galleries and the Bornholm Art Museum to discover. Boat trips to the surrounding islands are also a popular activity, as are visits to the smokehouses that sell Bornholm's famous smoked salmon.
