Our cozy half-timbered vacation apartment stands out for its central yet quiet location. In the old town center of Lachendorf, a 5-minute walk from the town center, tucked away beneath an oak and a walnut tree, you can enjoy the tranquility of country life in the heart of the Lüneburg Heath. <br><br>The historic half-timbered town of Celle is just 10 km away. Here you’ll find Celle Castle, various museums, Haesler buildings, and, of course, the downtown area with its countless beautiful half-timbered houses and street cafés. A visit to the medicinal herb garden rounds out your stroll.<br><br>In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find the Heidschnucken Hiking Trail, Heidepark Soltau, and Walsrode Bird Park. All of these are within an hour’s reach. Various lake areas round out the attractions in the immediate vicinity.<br>Cycling, hiking, and simply unwinding are all welcome activities here in the Lüneburg Heath.<br><br>You’re surely familiar with the 2025 ARD series “Schwarzes Gold” (Black Gold), a historical Western series about the oil boom in the Lüneburg Heath around 1900, which takes place at many authentic locations nearby. The Hösseringen Museum Village serves as a major part of the backdrop, as does the small heathland village of Wietze. Both locations are about a 45-minute drive away. The Hösseringen Museum Village is definitely worth a visit. <br><br>The entire apartment underwent a stylish, comprehensive renovation in 2023, combining the traditional elements of a half-timbered house with modern principles of eco-friendly construction. It offers a healthy indoor climate for allergy sufferers.<br><br>Here you’ll find an oasis of tranquility where you can relax in the spacious living-dining area, watch TV, or enjoy a delicious meal.<br>A fully equipped kitchen is, of course, at your disposal.<br><br>The bathroom features a large walk-in shower.<br><br>The bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200 cm), and there is space to set up a travel crib here.<br>A separate walk-in closet is available for your clothes.<br><br>The highlight of the apartment is the living-dining area. Here, your children or young-at-heart travel companions can climb a small ladder to the converted loft and spend an adventurous night on a 140 x 200 cm futon bed. <br><br>If you’re traveling with a group, they can stay in our loft, which is separate from the main bedroom.<br><br>At the back of the property, you’ll find a small lawn with a swing, as well as two cozy seating areas in the garden where you can relax.<br><br>A parking space is reserved for you in the courtyard.
