Superb quality in a very adequate house
The house is very clean and hygienic. Enough light. Everything functions very well (the fridge is noisy, but: very big ++). The beds are OK. Nothing bad about the bathrooms. Nice decorations. Enough space for keeping the luggage. Everything that could be needed, is present in the kitchen-part. My congratulations to the owners!
Now a remark that we could not deduce from the pictures nor from the description of the house: the inner court is surrounded by other houses with windows. You don't have a noteworthy outlook from there, and you don't have privacy (but you can sit comfortably outside, children can play safely in the grass). Nothing wrong with all that (the owners and neighbors were very discrete), we didn't mind, but you should know that in advance.
With the car you are at the lake within minutes. Five of the many highlights for us: Palazzo Borromeo on Isola Bella, rifugio Campiglio, Giardino Taranto, Casa Pigliaghi on Sacro Monte, Giardino Pubblico (at the lake) at Germignaga .
Go there at least a week, you won't be disappointed -:)
