We warmly invite you to stay at our private vacation rental with a covered balcony (offering a view of the distant landscape). If you’re looking to relax, enjoy hiking, and love forests, varied countryside, and fresh air, you’ve come to the right place.
Our house, complete with an orchard, is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Schwend, in the municipality of Birgland in the Amberg-Sulzbach district.
The city of Nuremberg is only 45 km away. Amberg and Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate are 18 km away. You can reach us quickly from all directions via the nearby A6 highway (2 km away) and the A3 highway (16 km away).

You’ll find beautiful and peaceful hiking trails all around the area. Although the apartment pictured is on the second floor, you’ll only have to climb one flight of stairs, as the building’s entrance is on the east side and is almost at ground level.

There are two good restaurants in our town where you can dine.
A Raiffeisenbank ATM is about 200 meters away.
You’ll find grocery stores, butchers, and bakeries in the neighboring town of Lauterhofen.
