The Palms

We had a nice stay. The lagoon pool was AMAZING! Easy walking distance to the beach with public access. Right off the main road so there were lots of restaurants, grocery stores and activities without being on a main highway. Room was good. Lots of space but left some cleanliness to be desired.

Great place close to beach

Great place. The condo was clean and Just as shown in pictures. The couch definitely has some wear to it but still comfortable. Took us about 5 minute car ride to get to Henderson state park beach access. Would definitely stay again

This was by far an amazing stay!…. 2 beautiful beaches close by.. local supermarkets to shop & restaurant’s for food!… We are a family of four always looking for family oriented spots and Destin was it! Def we will be back!

Family of 4, 3 night stay.

I hadn't been to Destin in several years and for my wife and children it was their first time. This was a fantastic stay! The resort was clean and easy to get to and the pools were great for the kids (3 and 1). The shuttle made it easy to get to the beach but we elected to drive on the 2nd and 3rd day because we had quite a lot of things to carry. Property management was nice and the room was clean and ready at check in. Overall it was a great stay and we'll most likely look into using this property again in the future.

Condo was very nice. Pool area was nice. Grounds were kept clean. A few things missing in kitchen (spatula and pizza cutter) but otherwise beds were comfortable the condo was very clean and there were plenty of extra linens. The beach is quite a walk and the shuttle runs longer than you expect but was an added perk.

We enjoyed our stay.

This was our third time to stay at the Palms and we loved it. The check in process was easy, which we appreciated after a long drive. The condo itself was clean and stocked with basic essentials such as dish soap, dishwasher packets, toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap. The kitchen has cooking utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, and even wine glasses. My family of six fit comfortably. We will definitely be back.

Spring Break Stay

The overall complex was impressive, as the location was very convenient to stores, restaurants, and the ocean. The actual room was nice being on the main level which made it easy to come and go as we pleased, specially with small children. The negatives to our stay included a strange odor that lingered on-and-off and we did find ants located in the bathroom. The large pool that we were excited to swim in was not heated, and was too cold for us along with many other guest who stayed at the complex.

Girls Trip

No one was available upon check in, patio door didn't open, pool was dirty. Communication with the security guards was awful, real joy agent was awful. I stay in destin at least twice a year. This was by far the worst place I've ever stayed, very disappointed

Great Experience

Nothing bad to say, had a great experience. Had questions twice throughout the week, and was able to get great help quickly both times. Front desk was very helpful as well. Location was great, with only a couple minute drive to the beach at the state park. The shuttle to the beach was nice to have, but it's only a couple dollars extra to make the drive yourself. Having a shaded parking garage was very nice as well. No complaints about the condo. The master bed was nice, and the blinds blocked out the morning sun well. Having carpet was much better than hardwood floors, and we loved the stand up shower in the secondary bathroom. Would def consider staying here again.

Just as described

The overall property was very nice. Everyone working was very helpful. Master bedroom was great, kids room was small (as described). We were slightly disappointed in the lack of kitchen supplies (coffee filters, trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels). Also noticed the water filter in the fridge needed changed and vent above the main door was filthy. Other than that I can’t complain. Had one slight issue and it was fixed by the end of the day so owners were on top of it.

Could be cleaner….

Our overall stay was great. I was a bit disappointed when I first entered our building/condo. I felt like the condo doors on the first floor could use a major scrub down (not sure about other floors as we were on ground level). When we first entered the condo, there was a stinky odor, which was better once we turned the ac down a bit. Definitely the rest of the condo could use a scrub down as well. The garbage area in the kitchen and bath had splatters on the wall, the bathroom decor was full of dust as well as trim work, and there were smashed bugs left on the walls, the carpet could use a shampoo as well. Like I said before we had a great time but first impression was like this place is dirty, making you look for more. The overall resort was very well taken care of. Staff all great. Large, large pool area with a ton of seating! Large pool a bit cold in the beginning of April but the heated pool and hot tub were so great and had a lot of room. Would definitely stay again.

Family Friendly Fun

This place was amazing. The pool was probably the best pool I've ever seen. There was also a splash pad area and a large hot tub. My 4 year old and 1 year old had a blast. Very clean and in a good location. The coffee shop and restaurant is super cute. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others.

We had a wonderful time. The beach was a 10 minute walk and easy access with my 2 year old.
