Outside, you can enjoy the sun on the covered terrace with garden furniture. In the village of Oosterwold you will find several supermarkets and other shops.



From this holiday home you can visit the village of Veenhuizen, where the National Prison Museum is located. Here you can learn about the history of the prison village. A visit to the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, where you can go walking and cycling, is also worthwhile. If you fancy a city break, the provincial capitals of Assen and Groningen and the Frisian town of Drachten are not far away. A trip to the Wadden Islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog is also a great day activity during your holiday in Friesland.
