Welcome to “Haus Meta” in Oldsum on Föhr—a stylish and spacious retreat on the quiet outskirts of one of the island’s most charming villages. Here, you’ll find no hustle and bustle, but rather open spaces, nature, and the soothing feeling of truly arriving and taking a deep breath.

With approximately 120 m² of space, this modern vacation home comfortably accommodates up to 6 people and is ideal for families or friends looking to spend relaxing days together on the island. The bright, open living and dining area, with a cozy sofa nook and a large dining table, forms the heart of the home. Direct access to the terrace creates a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors—perfect for long summer evenings or a relaxed breakfast al fresco.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped and invites you to cook together and enjoy your vacation with complete flexibility. Several bedrooms provide private retreats and restful nights, while the two bathrooms offer additional comfort—ideal for relaxing vacation days without feeling cramped or rushed.

The garden, with its terrace, beach chair, and sunbathing area, is particularly lovely and offers plenty of space for peace and relaxation. Here you can enjoy the sun, read a book, or simply take in the Frisian landscape. There’s also plenty of space for children to play and explore.

Oldsum itself is one of the most authentic and creative villages on Föhr. Small galleries, cafés, and the typical Frisian thatched-roof houses give the village a very special atmosphere—quiet, authentic, and full of island charm.

A parking space right next to the house and Wi-Fi are, of course, available. Check-in is flexible starting at 4:00 p.m. and can be arranged contactlessly upon request. Bedding and towels can be booked as add-ons, and longer stays are also possible.

Key pickup is available Monday through Saturday between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM—and, upon request, we’re happy to arrange a hassle-free contactless pickup. Check-out is available until 10:00 a.m. To ensure you can relax and enjoy your vacation from start to finish and make the most of your time with us, we’re happy to offer early check-in or late check-out by prior arrangement and for an additional fee.
