Camping Butterfly is a vacation resort on Lake Garda, a comfortable campground in a green setting. It is located in Peschiera del Garda, on the southern shore, where the extensive Parco del Mincio nature reserve begins, stretching all the way to Mantua in the south. Thanks to its quiet location, Camping Butterfly is ideal for families with children. The new playground features a playhouse filled with games and toys. During peak season, there are entertainment activities for all ages. In addition to the large swimming pool and a small pool with a slide for the youngest children, there is, of course, the magnificent Lake Garda with countless opportunities for water sports enthusiasts. The resort features a restaurant, supermarket, gift shop, medical service, playground, a wide variety of sports activities, and a well-equipped pebble beach. Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. Additionally, guests have access to the internet, coin-operated washers and dryers, and a charging station for electric cars.
The beautiful Nabucco Deluxe S mobile home is bright and modern. The mobile home accommodates up to 6 people, including babies. The unit consists of a master bedroom with a double bed and two children’s bedrooms, each with two single beds. The well-equipped kitchen is located in the living area and features a 4-burner gas stove, dishes, silverware, pots, a microwave, a drip coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a sink, and a toilet. The covered wooden deck with a table and chairs is perfect for relaxing, while the children can play by the pool or on the playground. Travel time from the Italian border is approximately 2 hours. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same style.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please refer to the calendar for the arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay during your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, you may of course check in the following day (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early; in this case, departure on the previous day is also possible. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
Just 100 meters from the resort, you’ll find a pebble beach and a sandy beach. Those who prefer to relax on the grass will find a large green area on the beautiful shore of Lake Garda. Guests have access to many water sports options: windsurfing, parasailing, water skiing, and rowing. This makes the beach the ideal place to relax while sunbathing or to enjoy one of the many sports activities. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurants located right on the beach.
POOL
The campground features a great swimming pool with a separate wading pool, a fantastic water slide, and a large terrace (standard lounge chairs available while supplies last), where you can enjoy the glorious sunshine.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
The entertainment team is highly motivated and organizes many great activities. Camping Butterfly has a playground where children can keep themselves entertained for hours. In addition, inflatable bouncers, trampolines, and bungee trampoline facilities are available to young guests for a fee. In the evening, you can enjoy a nice meal with the whole family at the campground restaurant. During peak season, Camping Butterfly offers live music in the evenings and a mini-disco for the kids.
LEISURE AND SPORTS
If you want to stay in shape while on vacation, you’ll be spoiled for choice. In addition to soccer, beach volleyball, and table tennis, canoes, pedal boats, and boats are also available. A golf course is about 2 km away. At the beach, you can learn to windsurf, go para-flying, or water-ski; you can also row, ride a pedal boat, or simply jog along the lake. Bicycle rentals are also available. For example, a bike ride along the Mincio River is absolutely beautiful.

The resort has a grocery store where you’ll find not only fresh food but also a wide selection of everyday items.

The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchen. Shopping options are located nearby. The restaurant is happy to serve you and also offers a wide selection of takeout meals.

GETTING THERE

The center of Peschiera del Garda is just a few minutes away. The quaint villages of Lazise and Sirmione are also easily accessible by car. Caneva World and Gardaland are not far from Camping Butterfly and are both definitely worth a visit. For a day trip from Camping Butterfly, we recommend the beautiful city of Verona.
CITY AND SURROUNDINGS
Peschiera del Garda is located on the southeastern shore of Lake Garda. Peschiera’s old town, completely surrounded by canals, lies within an imposing, beautifully landscaped fortress. As you stroll through the narrow alleys, you’ll find many charming shops and small bars. Peschiera has one of the few train stations directly on Lake Garda and is therefore very easily accessible by public transportation. Peschiera also has a small marina. Peschiera promotes its accessible shops, making it ideal for wheelchair users and families with strollers. You can buy great souvenirs, as well as delicious salami, cheese, and fresh fruits and vegetables at affordable prices at the weekly markets. Market day in Peschiera is every Monday. Next to Peschiera lies the town of Castelnuovo del Garda. It attracts visitors with a castle built in the 14th century by the Visconti family, which towers over Castelnuovo’s old town. In just half an hour, you can take a day trip to Verona to explore its Roman heritage, the famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet, and, of course, the world-famous Arena with its open-air performances. To the west lie the cities of Brescia, Bergamo, and Milan, which are perfect for an extensive shopping spree. Even picturesque Venice is easily accessible from Peschiera. A drive around Lake Garda is always a memorable experience. Lake Garda offers an exceptionally wide range of amusement parks, zoos, climbing parks, and swimming pools. For example, Castelnuovo del Garda is home to Gardaland, one of Italy’s largest amusement parks. Families will find plenty to enjoy here, as there’s something for everyone—young and old alike—with over 40 attractions ranging from whitewater rides to a fairy-tale-themed world. Right next door, the Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium awaits, ready to introduce visitors to the underwater world. At Movieland in Lazise, breathtaking stunt shows await visitors. Special effects provide all the necessary excitement. Parco Natura Viva in Bussolengo (just a few minutes’ drive from the southeastern shore of the lake) is a zoo dedicated to the protection of endangered species, and its residents include several endangered animals such as tigers, leopards, and red pandas. Visitors can go on a safari along a walking trail and get up close to animals such as rhinos, hippos, and monkeys, separated only by natural barriers.
