Residence Maximilian is located in the southern part of Sterzing, at the entrance to the Pfitschertal Valley. The apartment has good access to the train station and the highway exit, and the bike path runs right past it. Residence Maximilian is an ideal starting point for summer hikes in the surrounding valleys—Pfitschtal, Ratschins, Ridnaun, or Ladurns—and the Dolomites are easily accessible by public transportation. In winter, the Rosskopf, Ladurns, and Ratschings ski areas are perfect for sledding and skiing, while cross-country skiing is available in Ridnaun and Pfitsch. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, bidet, makeup mirror, and sink; a hair dryer, towels, and soap are provided. There is also a covered terrace with a table and chairs that’s perfect for relaxing. Right in front of the house is a parking space reserved free of charge for the apartment. Cyclists are provided with a lockable storage compartment in the basement, which can also be used to store skis in the winter. The center of Sterzing is about a 15-minute walk away along a pleasant path beside the Eisack River.
