Holiday apartment in the Haard hiking, biking & relaxing near Recklinghausen

Relax in this unique and peaceful accommodation.

The Accommodation
You’ll stay in a small house (75 m² of living space on 2 levels) with a separate entrance and a 30 m² terrace, situated on a 3,000 m² lot with a beautiful view of the garden, right next to the Haard forest. The city of Recklinghausen is approximately 7 km away. Unfortunately, use of the garden is not permitted. The location is ideal for hiking and biking.
On the first floor, you’ll find the front entrance with the entryway and the staircase. There is also a living-dining room with an open kitchen and a small double bed for one person or two small children; the bed is 140 cm wide.
Upstairs, you’ll find the bathroom and a large living/bedroom with a double bed, 160 cm wide.
Since we are dog owners ourselves, we’d be happy to welcome your four-legged friend. Please note that we also have a cat.
A bike wash station is available for cyclists.
With an area of 50 square kilometers, the Haard offers a beautiful hiking area and a cyclist’s paradise.
For culture and shopping, the Ruhr region is just a 20- to 30-minute drive away.
The cities of Münster, Dortmund, Bochum, and Oberhausen are nearby, about a 30-minute drive away.
Recklinghausen, with its charming old town, is the perfect place for shopping and dining. Just a 10-minute walk from the house, you’ll find the popular restaurants Tapado (Spanish cuisine) and Mediterran, as well as the local eatery Mutter Wehner. The world-famous Ruhrfestspiele take place here in May and June.
Free parking is available on the street directly in front of the house (outside the property).

Guest access
You can park in front of the property on the grassy strip or on the street.
Access to the property is through the small gate; the house itself is located 20 m from the street.
The entrance to the house is on the right side of the anthracite-colored addition. It’s best to walk across the wooden deck.
Unfortunately, use of the garden is not permitted.
