The latest check-out time is 10 a.m.

Make yourself at home—all we ask is that you treat the place as you would your own. There are other tenants in the building; please don’t disturb them with loud music, etc.

The apartment will be cleaned after your departure, but please tidy up before you leave—that is, wash the dishes and dispose of any food. And please take out the trash—the trash bin is right in front of the building.

Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or in the building; a 25 CHF penalty fee will be charged if you smoke. Thank you for your understanding.

Pets are not allowed unless agreed upon with us prior to booking.

Please note that shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap are not provided. Towels and linens are provided.

You are not alone in the building; please be considerate of your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 10 p.m. Thank you.

If you plan to use the washing machine in this apartment, please be aware that you must place the washing machine’s drain hose in the toilet and check it from time to time while the machine is running. Thank you.

Comfortable, rather roomy flat in the middle of the old town and not far from the train station. Easily fits a family or two couples. Nice little balcony.

Overall location was central to things to see and do in Zurich with tons of shops, restaurants, coffee spots and bars. Two main items I recommend the company update include: specifically listing there is no AC esp for American travelers in summer who expect this amenity. I carefully looked at the amenities but didn’t occur to me it wasn’t listed since it wasn’t called out as with other amenities. The fans do very little to cool off the place when it’s record heat and nights can be brutal with windows open and bugs flying in, other apartments looking right over you and outside noise. When I asked the host he just said that’s AC is not common in Zurich and couldn’t add fans in time for our short stay. Our friends stayed nearby and had AC. Second item is to list being dropped off and picked up at the Levi store because cara can’t drive on the street where apt is located. With luggage and kiddos in tow this is helpful to know. Not a big deal but would’ve been nice to know. The AC AC was the deal breaker so we wouldn’t return esp in summer. For location, Everything is literally outside your door and steps away from the main path to local park, water and various sights.

We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the apartment’s very central location and its proximity to shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, the lake, parks, and many of Zurich’s main sights. Regarding the air conditioning, we understand your point, especially during periods of unusually high temperatures. Air conditioning is still very uncommon in private residential apartments in Switzerland, including in Zurich, as it has traditionally not been a standard feature in local homes. For this reason, our apartments are equipped with fans rather than AC units. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback and will review how we can communicate this even more clearly in our listings, particularly for international guests who may expect AC during the summer months. Thank you also for your comment regarding drop-off and pick-up. As the apartment is located in a very central area with restricted vehicle access, taxis and cars may not always be able to stop directly in front of the building. We will look into making this information clearer for future guests. We are sorry that these points affected your overall experience, but we appreciate your constructive comments and will use them to improve the information we provide before arrival.
